While screen time limits can be circumvented easily, it's essential to have our phones accessible for practical purposes such as timekeeping, alarms, and urgent communications.

The 4rem Lock and accompanying application were devised as solutions to this problem by effectively transforming your smartphone into a simpler device, reminiscent of a traditional cellphone. The lock mechanism ensures access is only granted through a physical device, allowing for automated app restrictions based on your schedule or manual intervention when needed. You have the flexibility to choose which apps to restrict and which remain unlocked.
